Greetings Amigos!
A special opportunity is coming up on June 8th where a few folks will get the opportunity to tour the San Andres National Wildlife Refuge with Director Whitney Kroschel. The San Andres NWR is situated between White Sands MR and Jornado del Muerto Test Range and is unapproachable without permission. The last time we scheduled a visit to San Andres, the government shutdown made it problematic, but this time, no shutdown is scheduled :). If you want a chance to visit this special National Wildlife Refuge please reply to events@amigosdelasevilleta.org. We have room for 3 more individuals and will meet at the San Andres NWR headquarters at 9am Monday June 8th:
5686 Santa Gertrudis Drive
Las Cruces, NM 88012-6417
Carpooling to Las Cruces is encouraged!
Bring sun protection, water and snacks.
