Our first outing of 2025 will be a moonlight hike up to the mesa. The gates to the refuge will be open from 4:30 to 4:55. Don't be late!

     Sunset is at 5:46 & moonrise is 6:06.  It'll be almost dark when the moon comes up.  We want to leave from the parking lot at 5:00 sharp.

     The Visitor Center building will not be open, so plan accordingly.  Bring warm clothes, water, and sturdy shoes.  Red beam flashlights are ok, please no white beam head lamps.

     The approximate distance we'll hike is 3 miles, half of it uphill.  The hike is limited to 15 participants.
